I used to judge myself
I used to judge myself & verbally beat myself up for not being able to get stuff done when said I would do it. Work & home stuff.
Others could do it, why couldn’t I?
Even if I only had 1 thing to do, there were days I just couldn’t even find the motivation to do get it done.
Turns out, I was going about it all the wrong way.
See, women are not linear like men are.
We live in cycles. We do best, especially creatively when we follow the ebb & flow that aligns with our bodies.
Learning to trust your body & really listen to what you need is the first step in understand what you need.
Like this post…I wrote it between washing my face & brushing my teeth at 11pm, in less than 5 min flat.
Versus if I scheduled to write posts tomorrow mid-day, I’d probably sit there for hours & barely get anything done or it would take me ten times as long.
Now, I wait. I listen. I plan lots of down time.
But, I get a TON more DONE!
And it’s better than I ever could have dreamed of.
Way easier than forcing it before & I am in WAY more pleasure.
