    With all the changes in my body over the last 10 y With all the changes in my body over the last 10 years, it feels hard to keep up. I seem to get to this place where I’m in love with my body, it’s shape, the way it moves, and the way it is…and then it changes. I swear I’ve done this 10,000 times! I wonder if it’s a test? Oh, you love me now…well how about I move some weight off your thighs onto your middle? How about now… Oh, you love your cycle? How about I take that away… Oh, you love menopause too? How about I give your cycle back to you, but now let’s try it every two weeks… Oh, you love your wrinkles and your gray hair? Well, how about you lose a ton of hair and gain a few more lines around your eyes and mouth… It’s almost ironic, hilarious, and absolutely cruel all at once. As women, we already have enough to hold. A little break right now would be really nice. And so, this morning, same as every morning, I place one hand over my belly and the other over my heart and take a few deep breaths. I reconnect to who I am at my core, my essence, my energy, my p.ssy and my power. I keep breathing and deepen my breath some more. And I keep returning back to me. Because INside, she’s always the same, always there, waiting for me, sharing whispers, sharing her truth. And from there, there is endless love and compassion for whatever form my body takes. She is beautiful. She is courageous. She is powerful. From there, I am home. 👆This is what I teach my clients. How to come home in your body. How to love your body unconditionally.     My body craved an embodiment practice the other da My body craved an embodiment practice the other day.⁣ I chose one to help me embody my emotions because things were feeling really heavy. It was a deep practice where I allowed myself to feel each of my heavier emotions one at a time holding nothing back. First, I located the emotion in my body, then I welcomed it in and brought in tons of approval. One at a time I allowed grief, anger and fear to simply BE in my body while I continued to move my body in whichever way it desired. Then I infused in pleasure…this is where the magic happens. Something happens in our systems when 1) we allow our body to really feel what we are feeling without judgment and then 2) when we bring in the pleasure and allow both to exist all at once. Grief with Pleasure Anger with Pleasure Fear with Pleasure The end result? We stop carrying around these heavy emotions in our bodies and our emotions alchemize into us feeling truly empowered.     I get it. Our conditioning around our bodies and o I get it. Our conditioning around our bodies and our s.xuality is thick. {even that is an understatement} It’s woven into whether we are a worthy human or not! We have deep embodied fear around our own bodies, emotions and sensations. The shame is intertwined with our pleasure and the essence of who we are as a sensual being. And it’s very HARD to separate this shame, fear and unworthiness for so so many. It was hard for me in the beginning too. It took nearly 40 years, just to look at it! That is what we should be asking “what the actual f*ck” about. Not shaming each other and gossiping about what “she” did. Opening our eyes wide in judgment in what “she” wears, who “she’s” with or how embodied and comfortable in her body and s.xuality “she” is. Don’t you see it? This is how the system has been set up. To perpetuate shame, gossip, judgment, hate and total disempowerment. Why? Because if we are disempowered in the core piece of who we are, how we came to this human form, how we experience pleasure, how we connect with our sovereign deep inner knowing and spirituality within ourselves and with others…we are then kept small, kept apart, put in our place, don’t speak our truth, scared, unsure of who and what we are… and this keeps us disempowered in every part of our everyday life. The system was created this way. It’s time to break down these walls and truly connect with our bodies, our souls, the essence of who we are and reclaim our personal freedom and truth. It’s time to heal the generational patterns around shame. Drop these chains that are keeping us stuck. Unhappy. Searching. Unsure. People Pleasing. Hating Yourself. Judging Others. Our bodies are beautiful. Our s.xuality is spiritual. Our pleasure is sacred. Our essence is enough. Just as we are. The only way to heal is to take OFF the blindfold.
